CULTURE WORKSHOPS

Delhi has always been a melting pot of cultures, cuisines and the arts. A way to ensure that the experience stays with visitors long after is to introduce them to the artists and the arts. To take with them in their minds and hearts the rich experiences which the see at the museum.

We have a team of motivated, experienced facliltators and carefully designed and tested programs for a world class experience in our own Dilli ki haveli museum – Kathika.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Photography has emerged as one of the most important forms of archival art in recent times. With the ability to capture moments in time, photography has become an invaluable tool for preserving history and culture. Through photography, we can document and archive events, people, and places, ensuring that they are not lost to the sands of time. As a result, photography has become an essential medium for historians, researchers, and cultural institutions looking to preserve and share our collective heritage.

A NEW "CHOR" BAZAAR

No conversation about Delhi is complete without a reference to The Sunday Bazaar. A rich history that dates back several centuries, the market was established during the Mughal era, which lasted from the 16th to the mid-19th century. During this period, Delhi was the capital of the Mughal Empire, which was known for its opulence, grandeur, and love of fine arts and culture.

Despite facing many challenges over the years, including wars, famines, and political upheavals, the Sunday Bazaar has remained a fixture of Old Delhi’s cultural landscape.

This is our ode to the spirit of Delhi, its people and culture and this event will re introduce people to that quintessential old Dilliwalla spirit.
